             August 1:  N.C. Application and Entry Forms Available  
       September 8:  Saturday Morning Q & A Webinar for Students, Parents, School Counselors, and 
                                All Individuals Interested in Applying or Supporting Students Who Apply
     September 30:  Sunday Night Conference Call for Students Who May Have One or Two 
                                Last Minute Questions or Concerns Prior to Submitting Their Entry Materials 

            October 7:  N.C. Deadline for Completed Applications and Entry Materials to Be Sent...

     October 10-12:   Phase 1 - Application and Entry Materials Evaluated and Validated
     October 15-26:   Phase 2 - Essays and Digital Presentations Judged
     October 27-29:   Phase 1 and Phase 2 Scores Tabulated  
     October 29-30:   Up to 7 Finalists Will Be Notified Via Email of Advancement to Phase 3 and 
                                 Invited to Interview with a Selection Committee in Raleigh, NC
     Oct 29 - Nov 4:   Those Finalists Accepting the Invitation to Interview in Raleigh Will Be Sent a 
                                  Confirmation Email with Interview Date, Time, Location, Parking Instructions, and 
                                  Helpful Hints for Preparing and Studying for the Timed National Examination. 
                                  Finalists will Also Be Sent Instructions for Preparing for the Presentation Portion 
                                  of the Interview. 
November (8 or 9):  Phase 3 - The 7 Finalists Will Convene at the N.C. Education Building, 301 N. 
                                  Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC   
             December:  Two U.S. Senate Youth Delegates and Two Alternates Will Be Announced
    March 2-9, 2019:  North Carolina's Two Delegates Represent the State at the 57th Annual 
                                  Washington Week in Washington, D.C.
              April 2019: The Two Student Delegates Will Be Recognized with an Award at the N.C. State 
                                  Board of Education Board Meeting in Raleigh, NC
